The TeddyCapPlus SE is a high-end power supply, dedicated to Naim’s pre-amplifiers, mainly NAC-202, NAC-282.
This power supply improves upon our highly successful TeddyCap, resulting in a higher resolution, better dynamics and more defined timing.
The TeddyCap SE is a drop-in replacement to all generations of HighCap and NAPSC, as well as our own TeddyCapPlus.
Along with improved circuitry, The TeddyCap SE includes our newly developed Koltura DIN cables.

The TeddyCapPlus SE Mk2 is a high-end power supply, dedicated to Naim’s preamps, such as NAC202/282 etc.
This power supply improves upon our highly successful TeddyCapPlus SE, with improvements in the following aspects:
- higher resolution.
- Better dynamics and more defined timing.
- Deep extended bass.
- Sharp focus and wide soundstage.
Just like its predecessor, the TeddyCap SE Mk2 is a drop-in replacement to all generations of HighCap, as well as our own TeddyCap/TeddyCap SE, and uses the same cables.
New design
The TeddyCap SE Mk2 is a completely new design, based on the lessons learned from our highly succesful MiniTeddy Special Edition .
Some design highlights:
- Hi capacity filter bank: using Kemet/Aerovox capacitors with 30,000uF total capacitance.
- Active filter stage, with extremely high noise rejection.
- New “Tedinator” – fully discrete voltage regulator.
- New grounding scheme, with low impedance “Star Ground” structure.
The result is an ultra low noise (noise is much lower than 1uV) and ultra low output impedance – ideally suited for the requirements of Naim’s preamp section.
Interconnects
The TeddyCapPlus SE comes with our unique Koltura cables. These cables are made of multiple strands of pure copper wire, offering a well balanced sound across all across the frequency spectrum, with unprecedented resolution.
The TeddyCap SE includes the following cables:
– Koltura D5 — DIN 5pin 240Deg (compatible with SNAIC-5) – always included.
– NAPSC – for the control section – always included.

Difference between TeddyCap SE and TeddyCapPlus SE
The only difference between these two products, is the addition of NAPSC power output (18V) for the control section of such preamps as NAC-202,NAC282.
What is the recommended configuration for NAC202/NAC282?
For the NAC202, use a single TeddyCapPlus SE.
For the NAC282, use a TeddyCapPlus SE, and a TeddyCap SE.
Is the SE version available for DualTeddyCap ?
At this stage, the SE version will be only available to the TeddyCap (replaces HiCap) and TeddyCapPlus (replaces HiCap and NAPSC).
Users of NAC82/NAC-282 can connect a TeddyCapPlus SE and TeddyCap SE.
Is the TeddyCap SE version compatible with additional Naim products ?
Yes, the TeddyCapPlus SE is fully compatible with HiCap and NAPSC, therefore will work perfectly with a large variety of Naim products, such as Stageline, NAC preamps (except for 52/252) and most integrated amps (except Nait5Si).

It’s only been a month, so far, so good.
I added the TeddycapPlus SE in addition to the new TeddyCap SE and I gained even more in opening, in the quality of the bass. I rediscover my Nac282/Nap250DR combo. These new power supplies are for me a game changer and without changing the PRAT Naim in my opinion.

I received my TeddyCap SE & TeddyCapPlus SE for my NAC282 last week. I was able to compare the TeddyCap to my HiCapDR first and I find it incomparable. The level of detail, the bass control and the silence of the power supply. By adding the 2nd TeddyCap, I gained even more in opening and without losing the typical Naim’s foot taping.. It’s simple, I rediscover my NAIM system. And in addition this new design is great. It was really worth waiting for these updates.

A great upgrade to my system. It has elevated the sound quality adding more detail and taking the rough edges off a 102/180 combination. Money well spent.
