New design
The TDualTeddyCap Mk2 is a completely new design, based on the lessons learned from our highly succesful MiniTeddy Special Edition .
Some design highlights:
- Hi capacity filter bank: using Kemet/Aerovox capacitors with 30,000uF total capacitance.
- Active filter stage, with extremely high noise rejection.
- New “Tedinator” – fully discrete voltage regulator.
- New grounding scheme, with low impedance “Star Ground” structure.
The result is an ultra low noise (noise is much lower than 1uV) and ultra low output impedance – ideally suited for the requirements of Naim’s preamp section.
New Sound
The DualTeddyCap Mk2 improves upon its predecessor on many aspects, including:
- higher resolution.
- Better dynamics and more defined timing.
- Deep extended bass.
- Sharp focus and wide soundstage.
Pricing and delivery schedule
At this stage, the DualTeddyCap Mk2 is in pre-order stage. Delivery is scheduled to start on Nov-29th.
Pricing will be unchanged from current generation, with an increase of 18% scheduled for Dec-1st.

The DualTeddyCap is equivalent to two TeddyCap and in addition it includes a napsc compatible output. Each part of the DualTeddyCap has an independent transformer secondary and can be used independently.
The DualTeddyCap is the ideal partner for the NAC82/NAC282 preamplifiers, substituting three power supplies (two Hicaps and a Napsc) and furthermore, providing superior sound quality.
Alternatively it can be used to power up to 3 Naim equipment items simultaneously.
Configuration examples:
- NAC102/202 + CD5 (powering both the the HiCap and Napsc parts of the preamplifier)
- NAC102/202 + Stageline
- SuperNait + CD5X
And many other combinations…
Interconnects
The TeddyCap is equipped with three interconnect cables:
– Two high quality 5-pin cables replacing the Naim black SNAIC-5 cable. These cables are made of silver plated PTFE insulated wires. The cable capacitance is around 13pF/ft, and its resistance is also very low, around 10 milliohm/ft.
– A third cable is supplied for connecting the napsc output.

I have a NAC-282, which power supply should I choose?
The NAC-282 runs very well with the DualTeddyCap Mk2, however we highly receomend on using it with a pair of TeddyCap SE Mk2 – the pair does everything the DualTeddyCap does – just much better!

Runs quite warm was not expecting that well worth the money replacing two hi caps and napsc sound is much better
Great product, High quality
TeddyPardo makes magic happen! Took my NAC202 from pretty amazing and made it unbelievable. And to effectively have s NAPSC and two Hi-Caps in one box is a whole heap of icing on the cake.
