When should you change the fuse?
- If the unit does not function at all, and there is no light at the front panel.
- If you wish to try other fuse types (see notes below).
Step 1: locate the fuse drawer near the power entry socket
Step 2: use a sharp tool to pry open the fuse drawer
Step 3: the "live" fuse is the more internal one. Replace it and push the drawer to close it.
Notes about replacement fuses for Teddy Pardo gear
- Our products are always shipped with a spare fuse.
- If you still need to buy one, follow the label at the back of the product. For example, T1AL means: 1 Amp, delay fuse (AKA “Slow Blow”).
- If you plan on using Synergestic Research fuse, make sure to increase the rating by 25-30%, so if the original type is 1A, choose 1.25A, slow-blow.
- If you ask our opinion about audiophile fuses, we have nothing against those, and we always encourage our customers to judge only with their ears.
