How to change the fuse in Teddy Pardo gear

When should you change the fuse?

  1. If the unit does not function at all, and there is no light at the front panel.
  2. If you wish to try other fuse types (see notes below).

Step 1: locate the fuse drawer near the power entry socket

Step 2: use a sharp tool to pry open the fuse drawer

Step 3: the "live" fuse is the more internal one. Replace it and push the drawer to close it.

Notes about replacement fuses for Teddy Pardo gear

  1. Our products are always shipped with a spare fuse.
  2. If you still need to buy one, follow the label at the back of the product. For example, T1AL means: 1 Amp, delay fuse (AKA “Slow Blow”).
  3. If you plan on using Synergestic Research fuse, make sure to increase the rating by 25-30%, so if the original type is 1A, choose 1.25A, slow-blow.
  4. If you ask our opinion about audiophile fuses, we have nothing against those, and we always encourage our customers to judge only with their ears.
